  More interested in day trading, than providing overall planning services (insurance, non-security based assets, college savings) to clients whose assets aren't all tied up in stocks. Try asking a non-stock question and listen as they are unable to answer it. Financial planning is more than building up a stock profilo, it's also about avoiding/minimizing taxes, and making sure you can have resources for taking care of your family, when college, medical, or other life situations occur. Asked them to give me all my records, which they charged me $70, been with the firm for 10+ years, well the firm that they bought and ran into the ground. Doesn't even come close to all the records they had, like trust and insurance policies. Guess I got the wrong staff, one person they hired to handle my account, was fired within 3 months for overstating his qualifications.

  The last comment is almost humorous, he or she sounds like an competitor more than a client. The staff has always been more than helpful, professional, and knowledgeable with me in more aspects than just "day trading." In my experience it would be beyond worthwhile to talk with them about available options.
